Clients: We serve local students in Eagle County and vacationers in Vail, Beaver Creek and the surrounding resort areas. Please contact Caroline Lewis, founder and tutor, for more information about local tutoring in Edwards, Eagle, Avon, and Vail, or online tutoring outside of Colorado.
Advantages:
Experience:
I am very familiar with the Colorado math curriculum through teaching and tutoring and prioritize content to focus on foundational math skills and their applications in current and future contexts. I have relationships with many of our local schools and communicate with teachers when appropriate. I also advise students on how to do so themselves! I have been a student, teacher, and tutor, and consider all perspectives.
Resources:
I have created materials to supplement classroom content, including note sheets and practice assessments, and customize these for individual students. I prepare for each meeting and do not bill for planning time. I also follow up with students after our sessions and provide additional materials per request.
Flexibility and meeting options:
Meeting locations include: your home, my home office in Edwards, CO, certain schools, or the library. Online tutoring is another option.
