Philosophy

Our goals are to make learning easier and eliminate some of the stresses of being a student.  We are here to help when you need it, which is why we offer both in-person and online tutoring. Online tutoring allows us to assist you when you can't plan in advance or if you only need a few minutes.

Advantages

Traditional tutoring sessions typically have a minimum length of one hour, but one hour is not always necessary. I have found that a few short sessions per week are often more effective than one long one, but unless you are tutoring your next-door neighbors, that isn't always practical. The main advantage of online tutoring is that the sessions can be as long or as short as you need.

Parents

• You don't have to drive anywhere, especially when it is snowing.
• You pay only for the amount of time your student needs. 
• Your child will learn an important life skill: how and when to take advantage of resources.
• If you are on vacation, you can relax and enjoy each other's company without worring about your children. We partner with local ski and snowboard instructors in Vail and Beaver Creek to ensure a productive and fun vacation for everyone. 

Students

• You send us your work before tutoring sessions and we prepare in advance.
• We can you help complete your work when you are in a time crunch, but our detailed notes will ensure that you can understand our solution methods.    
• We give you a copy of all tutoring materials so that you can use them as a study guide later on. We also send copies via e-mail. It's much harder to lose things in the cloud than in your backpack.
  
• The hours are flexible and you can schedule them on an "as needed" basis. That means you don't need to sit through a session if you don't need one, but you can get help when you do.
